  • What to expect during my first pelvic health visit?
During your initial one-on-one visit, Kara will listen to your full history, reason for seeking physical therapy, and what goals you want to achieve. This conversation is followed by a detailed examination including total body movement and assessments of your core, hip, and pelvic floor. The human body is a long kinetic chain and treating the whole body is essential for providing the most optimal care and achieving your highest outcome. If there are services that Kara can provide to promote relief of discomfort and pain, these services will be provided on your first visit. Towards the end of your visit, we will wrap up the assessment and develop a care plan together with emphasis on achieving goals in your health journey.
